whats directx ???
Direct3D (the 3D graphics API within DirectX) is widely used in the development of video games for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Xbox, Microsoft Xbox 360 and some Sega Dreamcastgames. Direct3D is also used by other software applications for visualization and graphics tasks such as CAD/CAM engineering. As Direct3D is the most widely publicized component of DirectX, it is common to see the names "DirectX" and "Direct3D" used interchangeably.
follow my few steps to solve your error
- Most probably you were running a game that give out you such an error so at first search "directx" in the games folder cause most of the games company give all the directx files to you but you have to install it manually the folder name might be directx11 or directx10 there you get a setup install it ...
- If you don't have the file you can download directx from HERE
- It should work but if it doesn't then get an directx11 update from HERE
- Remember to save the file in an appropriate place that you can reinstall it if you are reinstalling your operating system or making a dual boot
